Sadly, we have all seen the horrific images on television and in the newspapers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As of today, 28 August, we are still in a state of total emergency, with homes, roads and bridges swept away; only the rescue teams are at work, hoping to save as many lives as possible\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">However, many friends are asking us if there is anything they can do to help, and this makes us immensely grateful: we have therefore decided to launch a fundraising campaign.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At present, however, we are unable to say how the funds raised will be used: only once the initial emergency phase is over will it be possible to assess this, together with our volunteers, monks and local supporters.
