Help in Action<\/h3>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

is a non-profit organisation founded by T.Y.S. Lama Gangchen<\/strong>, a Tibetan lama, who lived in the West for many years and who worked tirelessly to promote a positive mutual exchange of knowledge and humanitarian aid between the East and West.
\u201cKiurok Tsochun\u201d, the Tibetan name he originally gave to the association, means \u201chelp to the poorest and most forgotten\u201d.
The organisation has been operating on a voluntary basis since 1992, and was registered in Italy in 1997. In 2019 it obtained recognition as a Foundation. The organisation promotes humanitarian aid projects in favour of the least developed countries, in particular the Himalayan populations.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

The Association is a member of the Lama Gangchen World Peace Foundation<\/strong>, United Nations NGO in consultative status with ECOSOC.<\/p>\r\n

ONGOING PROJECTS<\/a><\/h5>\r\n

Ongoing projects, especially in favour of the Himalayan people and their culture, concern: education and vocational training; health; help for village communities; provision of water and the environment; aid in emergencies; support for Tibetan monasteries; preservation of traditional arts and medical cultures; long distance adoptions.<\/p>\r\n

THE LONG DISTANCE ADOPTION PROJECT<\/a><\/h5>\r\n

is active in Nepal and in various Tibetan monasteries. It is possible to \u201cadopt” at a distance a child, but also an elderly, sick or disabled person, a student in further education, or even a monk, of any age, living and studying in a Tibetan monastery. This creates a beautiful human relationships, in which both parties can give and receive a lot.<\/p>\r\n
