The engineering studio Fossati-Ziraldo & Partners offered an inspection and technical analysis by structural engineer Doriano Ziraldo, who went as a volunteer to Nepal, of the buildings of the Association following the earthquake of 2015 (Gangchen Samling School, Gangchen Drupkhang, the association office, and various other requests from private individuals received on site). They then prepared an accurate technical study indicating the safest reconstruction methods; this also allowed us to access funding for the reconstruction of Gangchen Drupkhang, a vocational training centre dedicated to the preservation of Himalayan culture, seriously damaged by the earthquake.
